ECO PLUS BAMBOO

Engineered bamboo flooring is created in much the same way as our solid strand-woven bamboo. In this case, though, rather than solid bamboo flooring planks, thin layers of veneer are cut from the moulded blocks of bamboo. These thin sheets of processed bamboo are then bonded to a base layer of cross-hatched plywood. A clear wear layer is applied over the natural ply layer, and a waterproofing agent is applied to the bottom of the sheets. From these prepared sheets, flooring planks with "drop-lock" edges are cut and made ready for sale as a high quality flooring material.
